Geeks, nerds, and technology fans at Southeast were given a new voice this week with the premiere of "Nerd Word", RAGE 103.7's new talk show focusing on gaming, technology and pop culture.
The hour-long show, which airs on Friday at 2p.m. is getting attention from listeners and RAGE staff alike for its fresh new blend of the latest geeky news, humorous commentary, and alt-rock music.

On Feb. 11, Dr. Drew Pinsky will be speaking at Southeast Missouri State University's Academic Auditorium as part of Southeast's "University Speaker Series." "The University Speaker Series," is a student-funded program that started in 2005. It is a program that brings "nationally-touring speakers to Southeast," according to the Southeast Portal.
