Talent show brings out students' inner selves

Put those dancin' shoes on and warm up those vocals. On November 21, 2009, in Academic Auditorium, students and locals get to show their talents in a talent show sponsored by the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. The talent show will be going on from 4-7 p.m.

Where can you get a handmade bowl, gourmet soups, and dessert all for $12? At the "Empty Bowls" event held annually at Southeast Missouri State University's Dearmont Hall. On Nov. 11, dozens of students, faculty, and neighbors of the university gathered in Dearmont Hall's basement to enjoy good food and company while giving back to the community.

Three finalists have been selected to interview for the Provost position at Southeast Missouri State University. Candidates will interview on campus during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4.
