Letter to the editor

The Herald, Arkansas State University, AR

10 hours ago by Charles Hartwig

I would like to pick up and expand on a line in an editorial in The Herald several weeks ago about parking issues, when the author[s] noted that pedestrians also need to act responsibly. Staff editorial: Lord deserves to face accusers; faculty should face accused

The Daily Eastern News, Eastern Illinois University, IL

One of the most important tenets of the American legal system is that a man has the right to face his accusers. The reasons for this are both plentiful and obvious. It keeps unwarranted and false accusations from clogging the system.

It is time for the faculty members circulating the no confidence petition against Blair Lord, provost and vice president for academic affairs, to step out of the shadows and reveal themselves to the public.

By now, young ladies at Astate have rushed or are making final bids to do so. Expectations My personal experience to rushing goes back to the day I was born.

According to Fox 2 News, the state of Illinois has a $13.2 billion deficit and $3.9 billion in unpaid bills, some of which have Southern Illinois University's name on them. Being afraid of the dark is something SIUE students are going to have to get over if the university and Ameren cannot figure out why the electricity is going out on a regular, weekly basis.

Although multiple problems have been identified, such as a bad switch and circuit issues, when the power went out again on Friday morning, it was obvious that the true source of the power outages have yet to be discovered.
